Nathan Mohnke
A graduate of Belmont University, Nathan Mohnke is the Assistant Band Director at Siegel High School in the Rutherford County Tennessee School District.

Bio
Nathan Mohnke serves as the Assistant Band Director for Siegel High School. Prior to his appointment in 2023, Mr. Mohnke taught at Nashville School of the Arts where he led the jazz and music theory programs and assisted with the top wind ensemble.
Mr. Mohnke is a graduate of Belmont University where he received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Trombone Performance. While at Belmont, he performed in the wind ensemble, orchestra, and top jazz band and had the opportunity to perform with renowned artists such as Cece Winans and Michael W Smith. He also marched in World Class Drum and Bugle Corps starting with Music City Drum Corps in 2017 and continuing to the Bluecoats in 2019 where they achieved the silver medal at DCI World Championships.
Currently, Mr. Mohnke teaches his private brass studio at Shuff’s Music in Franklin, TN where he has students earn placements in both mid-state and all-state bands. He is a founding member of the Lakes Brass Quintet, a Nashville based group that performs a wide variety of classical and contemporary music.
Mr. Mohnke is a member of the Middle Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association, Tennessee Music Education Association, National Association for Music Education, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
